Enviro Voraxial Technology, Inc. (OTCQB:EVTN). announced today that the Company will exhibit its line of Voraxial® Separators at the upcoming Shale EnviroSafe Conference and Exhibition, part of the Clean Gulf Training and Exhibition on November 13-15 in New Orleans.
EVTN will display its Submersible Voraxial® Separator at Booth #2006 in the Shale EnviroSafe corridor of the event, which is dubbed North America's Leading Oil Spill Prevention & Response Conference & Exhibition.
EVTN is increasing its presence in the produced water sector of the oil and gas exploration and production market. In the past year EVTN has also been pursuing the frac water market. The need to treat and separate oil and sand from the large amounts of wastewater generated from both markets is a significant issue for the operators.
With the Voraxial® Separator's many unique benefits, including small footprint, low energy requirements, high separation efficiencies and ease of installation and operation, operators can achieve efficient separation in a very cost-effective manner. Since the Voraxial® doesn't require a pressure drop, it can be easily retrofitted into an existing system. In the past year, EVTN has shipped product to the oil & gas, frac and tar sands industry.
The Submersible Voraxial® 8000 represents a breakthrough in fluid and fluid/solid separation technology that enables efficient, high volume oil spill recovery. The Voraxial® 8000 processes up to seven (7) million gallons of oil and water per day which is equivalent to 5000 gallons (40 tons) per minute. To put the volume of the Voraxial® 8000 in perspective, this equipment processes about three times the total estimated volume of the oil spill flow rate from the Deep Water Horizon accident in the Gulf of Mexico.
The Voraxial® 8000 Separator can be installed onboard a vessel or submerged in the ocean for separation of large volumes of oil and water recovered from skimming. The Submersible Voraxial® design is the only oil-water separator that can operate in the water to treat oil slicks. Further, the Submersible Voraxial® can be lowered deep into the ocean to treat underwater oil spills and oil plumes. The compactness, light weight and low energy requirements of the Voraxial® enables the Voraxial® to be installed on new vessels or retrofitted on existing vessels for oil spill response. Similar to other auxiliary equipment on vessels such as firefighting hoses, the Voraxial's® small footprint allows it to be secured on supply vessels that currently serve offshore oil platforms, without interfering with the main function of the vessel.
Finally, the compactness of the Voraxial® enables the proposed next generation oil spill response systems to be helicopter deployed or secured onboard oil platforms and tankers as well as in harbors and other sensitive locations.

The Voraxial® 4000 Separator above processes up to 17,000 barrels per day separating solids and oil. The Voraxial® is installed via a flange connection within the customers' existing pipeline. The fluid pressure is approximately 20-35psi.
The above Voraxial®, combined with other equipment, is a compact turnkey solution installed on an offshore FPSO. The Voraxial® is separating oil and sand at a rate of up to 15,000 barrels per day with a discharge of <10ppm and without any pressure loss. Fluid pressure is approximately 150psi. The customer can not afford to lose any fluid pressure in completing the separation.
